Additionally, after 68 years of being hosted at Ohio State University, the Symposium will be moving to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sub-Doppler Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy of Molecular Ions Submitted October 23, 2012 - 11:06 AM As just reported in a cover article in Chemical Physics Letters , the McCall group has now implemented the first versatile technique for high-precision spectroscopy of molecular ions in the mid-infrared. This exciting result will have many applications in supporting astronomical observations, among other areas.
